GPCC Students Shine at Da Vinci Decathlon, Securing Multiple Top Awards
We are thrilled to announce that our GPCC students achieved an outstanding result at the recent Central Coast Da Vinci Decathlon, taking 1st place overall among 15 highly regarded schools. This incredible accomplishment reflects both their academic talent and their commitment to teamwork. They will now go on to compete in Sydney at the next round.
In addition to their overall victory, our students excelled across multiple disciplines:
1st Place: Creative Producers, Cartography, Ideation
2nd Place: Art & Poetry, Engineering, English, Science, Mathematics
The event organisers were equally impressed by the behaviour and attitude of our GPCC students. Multiple staff commented on how good-natured, respectful, friendly, and kind our students were, noting that their behaviour truly stood out among the other schools present. The organisers highlighted the positive atmosphere our students helped create throughout the day.

About the Da Vinci Decathlon
The Da Vinci Decathlon is a team-based academic competition designed to challenge students across a wide range of disciplines, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Teams of eight students rotate through ten different challenges, including Engineering, Mathematics, Science, English, Creative Thinking, Art & Poetry, Cartography, Code Breaking, Ideation, and Legacy.
