R U OK? DAY

Our Secondary students paused to reflect on the important question: “Are you OK?â€

R U OK? Day is a valuable reminder to check in with one another and start meaningful conversations about mental health and well-being. At GPCC, we recognise the importance of creating a community where students feel seen, supported, and cared for.

To encourage connection, our Year 11 and 12 students lovingly baked and shared delicious treats with younger grades. These simple acts of kindness opened opportunities for conversations, laughter, and encouragement. It was wonderful to see our whole Secondary School come together over a lunchtime of fun games, bubbles, food, and genuine care for one another.

We are reminded by the truth of Jesus’ words:

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.â€
— Matthew 11:28
